MARTINO CARVALHO SOARES On July 7, 2004, Martino Soares passed away suddenly at the age of 25 years. Martino is survived by his parents Celestino and Ilda; one brother Emanuel (Geeta), two sisters Zenaida, Sandra; nephews and nieces Emanuel, Elexa, Vanessa, Quinn, Dylan, Shea and Ava; uncles and aunt Dinis (Geraldina), Isaura (Joe), Manuel, Joe; numerous cousins in BC and in Winnipeg; many friends including his best friend Nelson Amaral. He was predeceased by his grandparents Carlos and Gloria Coelho, Manuel and Maria Benevides; and aunt Maria. Martino was born in Winnipeg, July 13, 1978 and loved life. He loved to hang out with his friends. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a heart of gold. He took pride in everything that he owned and did. He was always there when you needed him. Prayers will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street. Funeral service will be held at the Church on Monday, July 12, at 10:00 am, with Rev. Msgr. Maurice J. P.H., V.F., presiding. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
